The BNVD 1431 MKII is a Generation 3 Auto-Gated dual tube night vision goggle offering outstanding depth perception, individual pod articulation and supportability. The system is built into a compact and light-weight composite housing using Mil legacy optics. The BNVD can withstand harsh environments such as saltwater, rain, high humidity and temperature extremes while still providing unsurpassed levels of hands-free performance. This BNVD 1431 MKII goggle is equipped with manual gain control, bright light shut-off circuitry, and built-in IR illuminator. The system is also equipped with LED indicators that are displayed in the field of view to alert the user of a low battery, or to indicate that the IR is turned on. Tubes will be handpicked like they are for our personal use.

About YH vs. XLSH grade tubes:
Elbit USA's YH grade tubes are military grade, which does not comprise of just FOM. Several of the criteria are not seen from tube spec sheets. When the tubes fail to meet the military grade, they are then graded as commercial stock, SLH (better) and XLSH (lowest). One may find a high FOM XLSH but other qualities may suffer like image shift or non-matching field of view, spots, etc. The benefit with commercial stock is obviously the price but with military grade, YH tubes, quality is assured.
